windows 2000 start up problems

    Black screen.Start up does not work. Reports: NTLDR is failing.
    Press CTRL+ALT+DEL to start again. this is repeating and repeating. Can somebody give me advice.

    Boot to the recovery console (good article at the online M$ help site on doing that). Try the fixboot utility from the recovery console.

    Sorry - I don't try to be funny - but - have checked if you have an empty discette in the floppy drive - this would alsop cause the same symptoms...

    Please say what you have tried from the suggestions given and what results, if any.

    Can you get the system running at all in any mode?
