Whats the hot ticket to control Spam on Exchange Server 2003?

Playing with Trend Micro Scan Mail but haven't seen much of a decrease in Spam. Dont want false positives either.

ScanMail? ScanMail AFAIK is only Anti-Virus, Trend's eManager if for Anti-Spam. We have a few false-positives with it from people signing up to html newsletters and a few accounting e-mails but then again you have to toss up the gain vs loss. The few e-mails we don't get if the user complains we will add their domain to the exception list and it's as good as done.

We use Medium settings and I also set it to update the definitions nightly to pick up any new rules they create.

    Regards,
    Jason

Yeah it is, we resell for Trend eManager is a module of ScanMail. I much prefer the actual gui eManager interface over the web myself.

In any case, I think you can convey to whomever is curious the positives out-do the false-positives in most cases.
