problem after installing recordnow

Hi, I installed stomp recordnow 4.5 and everytime I started it I get this error.
"neither the pxhelper service nor Win ASPI loaded correctly. One of the two is needed to comunicate with the drives. please try to reinstall the application. "
I reinstalled the program few times but still the same problem.
I tried to get help from the developer but they doesn't support this app anymore.
I'am using also nero and alcohol 120% and they run fine.
Any idea what can I do?.

I read the trhead and i thought yes maybe i need those ASPI drives so i installed them but the problem persist and it top of that now I can't play any music, i get an error that I have problems with my sound card or a sound card is not install, also my daughter can't play her sims 2 game anymore, she wants to kill me.
I think my problem is more about the pxhelper service and I found a lot info in google about it but it does not match my problem.

I had problems with RecordNow (XP Pro) also. I even splurged on the upgraded version. Finally gave up and use Nero exclusively now.
