IE Must Close on only Windows Updates

    I get the IE has encountered a problem and must close message ONLY when I try to go to Windows Updates. No matter what route I take to get there, it still gives the same error message. Any ideas ??

    XP Home, SP-2, IE 6.0, Norton AV 2005

    Hi Clay,
    welcome to the Windows BBS ...... :) ...... !

    Have a look in Windows Update Troubleshooter . It's possible that Your problem is covered there.
