Home locksup trying D/L ?

    Running along and The XP Home version of mine keep's sticking up it's message about down-load available from MS, I go there and try to d/l and install that ".net framework" thing and it locks up IE6 and never finishs.

    I don't think i need it but just wondered why it wouldn't install......any ideas around??

    Well - it's a large download (21Mb or something). Could be your system is choking on it somehow.

    I just got it this morning but on XP Pro via DLS. No problems.

    Thanks but i'm on a T1 network thats fast, i think it must have something to do with xp home version but just don't know for sure.:(
