Does that mean you use Netscape as your ISP and Outlook Express as your email client or do you have some sort of Netscape email client?

    bmacko,

The 112 error is common with AOL Webmail. That's a problem with the web site and not with NS 7.

That having been said, I did find this in the Help:

Below is a collection of the most common user problems with Mail. Click on any of the links below to begin:

    * I have forgotten my password
    * I cannot access Netscape Mail using my AOL software
    * I can no longer sign-in to Netscape Mail with my AOL screen name
    * The Netscape Mail Sign In screen no longer remembers my screen name and password
    * I can no longer send, forward, reply, move, and/or delete mail messages
    * I can no longer get into my Mail using my 4.0x or less version of Communicator
    * When I attempt to sign in to Netscape Mail using my LinkSys router, I get an "Invalid http request" error message
    * Still need help?

I can no longer send, forward, reply, move, and/or delete mail messages

If you are unable to send, forward, reply, move, and/or delete mail messages, please clear your browser cache.

    For Netscape browser users:

    1. Open the Edit menu and select Preferences
    2. Under the Advanced Category, click Cache. (If you do not see the Cache option in this category, click on the arrow to expand the list)
    3. Click both Clear Memory Cache and Clear Disk Cache.
    4. Close the Netscape browser.
    5. Re-start your computer.

    HTH,

    Ramona

    bmacko,

    I'm sorry too!

    For Internet Explorer browser users:

    1. Open the Tools menu and select Internet Options.
    2. In the General tab and under Temporary Internet files, Click Delete Files.
    3. Put a check in "Delete all offline content ".
    4. Click OK.
    5. Close the Internet Explorer browser.
    6. Re-start your computer.

Here is the link for the Troubleshooting page:

I did a Search, and, except for the top item (importing Russian brides), I found a few reports and no clear solution. It seems to apply to other Webmails, as well. My suggrestion is to not forward the e-mail. In fact, i detest especially repeated forwards, with multiple headers and attachments. I have copied the text of interest, opened a new e-mail, and pasted the text. It has worked for me, and it is much cleaner.

Which one? The russian brides, or copy/paste the message. I think that the second one is pretty reasonable.

    bmacko,

This information was posted on the Netscape uFAQ:

If you are having problems with anything related to Netscape Web Mail, email Mark Gregor.

    "Mark Gregor" Policy2004@netscape.net

This was some time ago, so whether or not this is still a working address, I know not. Netscape no longer owns the Portal, so AOL is the contact...

If this email address doesn't work, then I'm not sure which direction you should take...

I have had no success with the netscape.net address. But, he was reachable at
MarkGGregor@aol.com I think that he is less likely to reply as people bugging, but he deserves it, if there ate still problems.
My suggestion is to open an account with Excite.com. I have not tried it that much, but it has been good to me, for years.
