Try start=>run=>sfc /scannow and OK (note the space after sfc). If that doesn't help, start=>run=>eventvwr.msc and locate an event triggered by the same error. Open the event, click on the icon below the up/down arrows (sends a text copy to your clipboard) and paste the event here.

Tried the scannow with no help. Went to Event Viewer, and I guess I do not know what I am looking for. Tried clicking below the error on one item and got nothing. Presume it would be under System. Maybe?

A friend said I may have bad sysoc.inf file. Got a copy from him, and now I get. Setup was unable to open msmqocm.inf. Contact your system Administrator. Specific Error Code is 0x2 at line 201184389. His computer does not do that.

The system event log entry will show a source of Windows File Protection and will be informational rather than error or warning.

Went into the new sysoc.inf and removed msmqocm.inf and 5 other lines. I think that this is from Professional, and maybe that is why these lines were in there. Everything works now. Still do not know why the original .inf does not work or how it got that way. Did add a "Windows Component ". Will stay out and see if it will stay this way.
