Avenue A, inc threat message in SpyBot

    Today I started getting SpyBot Search & Destroy bringing up a blocking yes/no message everytime I loaded my ISP home page and some other sites for Avenue A, inc. I found a thread on this site from Sept/Oct, but the suggestion of adding the address to IE's restricted sites didn't help. I couldn't find much usefull info on the Internet either. I solved the problem by completely uninstalling SSD 1.3, reinstalling it, updating and immunizing again. So the suggestion of a possible bug in SSD seems true?

    Hope this helps anyone else having trouble with this Avenue A, inc threat box in SpyBot.

    The message you are getting is likely Avenue A cookies. And if this message comes from spybot, then you must be using spybot's Teatimer? You should be able to resolve this by using IE/Int Options/Privacy Tab/Advanced button/overide/block 3rd party cookies. And don't use tea timer.

    If it happens again Tony, I'll block the 3rd party cookies. At present 3rd party cookies don't bother me as I delete all cookies every couple of days. Perhaps the upcomming v1.4 will address any bug?
