Dont want to use cd

    Everytime I use Microsoft street and trips, I have to use the cd. Is there a program I can use to just install the information right on my harddrive,

    Yes. You can use a "virtual CD-ROM" and copy the CD to it. Daemon Tools is a good one, but many burning apps include one, too. The Nero image drive is one.

    Do a search. There are some free virtual CD programs.

    When you install street and trips you can load the whole program so you do not need the CD in to run the program. The version I have took almost 800 MB of space.

    I did look in the help section, nothing about the full install. I have been looking for a virtual program to use.

    When you install Streets and Trips you are offered - as I recall - 3 options, one of which is a full install which does not require the CD to use the program. It's a while since I installed that software and it may be that the option was under a custom install. FYI - I am running v.11 sourced from the USA.

    Suggest you uninstall and reinstall, looking for that option.
