    Hello everyone,

I have a very frustrating problem where the windows scheduled tasks will not remember passwords to run.

I have to open task scheduler and go to properties then set password daily and this is a little frustrating.

Is there a way to set passwords to stay persistant?

    Thank you,

    AJR

If you have scheduler service starting with the default credentials, change it to an account that exists and that has admin rights to the PC. See the first picture. Then make sure the task is using an account that also has admin rights - maybe use the same one that is launching the scheduler service.

Do you have a password on your account? Are you using your account password or are you trying to assign a different password specifically for the scheduled task?
