Acrobat Reader 7 now available

    Acrobat Reader 7 is now available from Adobe. It loads much faster than 6. You don't have to use the Adobe dowload or the ancillary programs they want to install.

    But watch out, it does install a start launch file in the Start Programs Menu Start folder. This file doesn't show up on Mike Lin's Startup Control Pannel. I haven't noticed any difference in the launch time with such removed.

    I also find it a bit faster. Annoying is the "prompt" to install all the other crud though. As usual the download gets bigger and bigger. Now is around 20 MB without the other things they want you to include.
