Can I use MS outlook to receive Yahoo mail?

    I want to recieve my yahoo mail through Microsoft Outlook. I went to yahoo to find out how and it tells me I can't unless I suscribe to yahoo plus. Is there a way around this?

    Not really. Outlook wants POP (usually POP3) mail and Yahoo charges for that kind of account.

    If you subscribe to SBC/Yahoo, you can merge the account with a subaccount of SBC/Yahoo. It's really slick. You'll have one account with two entrances: @Yahoo and @sbcglobal. The second is how you access it with an e-mail client. If you ever quit SBC, it can be unmerged and return to @yahoo.
