    Hi all,

I have come to a point where I am trying to start up my new system for the first time and followed instructions...the mobo gets a green light but nothing else comes on, all my connections are good and tight so I am puzzeld. The Asus manual says that if nothing happens after 30 seconds that I need to check jumpers and connections, well like I said the connections are all good but I am not sure what jumpers I might check.

The manual only talks of 3 jumpers One for CRT, one for Keyboard power and the last one USB device wake up..they all set to default right now. I read though in the manual that The USB device wake up feature requires a power supply that can provide 500mA on the +5VSB lead for each usb port. Otherwise the system would not power up.

Any ideas here? Thanks in advance

If it wont do anything I would be looking really hard at your power switch connection at the Mother board. If your positive this is correct then remove the connector and momentarirly jump the pins with a screwdriver.
