When I start Netscape 7.2 it will load all the way, and I can browse for a minute or two, but then my system freezes and I have to reboot. If I don't start Netscape 7.2 then the system will run all day, no issues.
    Windows 2000
Tons of memory and disk space.

    Sorry, I missed your post.
I never saw anything like that. Did you have an early Netscape 6 or 7, or a Mozilla, or is this a first time ever with NS7? But, I have seen one report of crash, and it helps if you give a description of the crash. Only the first line.
    http://home.att.net/~cherokee67/ns7xpcomcrash.html is the example.

    Welcome to the Forum, RandallShelley!

    RandallShelley,

Did you actually have a crash in XPCOM.DLL? Is that why you installed the xpcom.xpi file? If you also created a new Profile, then this is indeed very rare for Netscape 7.2.

Did the crashes always occur on the same site, or did they occur regardless of the site?
Have you installed any new applications lately?
Try disabling your Firewall temporarily, does this make a difference?
Do the same for your AntiVirus program...

In the meantime I'll check around and see if I can find any other users having this type of problem.

I did find this information in the Release Notes
