    Safe - probably as safe as a 'file sharing' app can be. It's one of the best of this breed.

    However, they can't guarantee that some of the places you go from there or the stuff you get thru there is either safe or legal so it is not risk-free even though the WinMx piece itself pretty much is.

    It's way better than any flavor of Kazaa.
