Becauce her computer was having problems I reinstalled windows Me on an old computer for my granddaughter. The problem is I committed a major error. I installed Me in a different directory than it was in before. I now have two windows Me running, one with all her games and stuff and another with only windows, of course the last install is the one that boots up and not the one with her games. How can I remove the last installation and not lose the old windows Me with her software.

    Thanks
    DES

I'd start over with a fresh install.

But, you could try to reinstall again AND select C:\Windows as the target directory.

You'll see a screen about it wanting to install to C:\Windows.002 or something to that effect. Need to change it..

    Thank you

    Steve Jones,

Sorry I took so long to reply just got too busy with other things. I took your advice and re-installed ME. This was the best solution and the easiest.

    Thanks Again
