Word XP

    I have just found this slight annoying error........ If i double click on a word doc. in file manager it opens word, but the file does not show......... if I double click on the file again and leave word running it displays the file ok....

    And if I hold the shift key down and double click on a Word doc. they all open ok.

    I have checked the file association and thats ok.


    Any Ideas please. ;)

    Maybe something got disabled? Open word from start/programs. Click "help" select "about microsoft word" then click the disbled button & take a looksee:)
