free online virus scans compatible with Firefox?

    Housecalls requires Netscape; Panda requires IE. Can anyone recommend a free online virus scanner that's compatible with Firefox?

    Hmmm, that's interesting. As long as I lie about my location, it looks like the link you provided me with will work ( "core packages" are installing as I type). But if I click on "U.S./Canada" (which is where I truly am), I'm automatically redirected to the US site, which only supports Netscape and IE -- not Firefox.
    No biggie, so I'll pretend I'm in the UK! Thanks, Newt (and congrats on surpassing the 10,000 post mark!).

    I heard it explained here that US/Canada uses ActiveX (IE) and UK uses Java.

    Aha! Well that explains it! Now I don't feel so "guilty" about lying about my location, as it appears there really was a valid reason for doing so. :)
