I have 2 files in my Windows\Temp folder that are
labeled 00000000 and 00000002 with no extensions. They
say they were last modified 12-5 and 12-6. One is 1.36 Gig
and the other is 2.47 gig. I have no idea what these are or how they
got there. Anybody have any clues? Are these safe to delete?

    Thanks,

    Sean

My experience Sean, with files in the windows/temp and the C:\Documents and Settings\use login\Local Settings\Temp folder is that it is safe to regularly delete the files. Occasionally windows or a programme may be using some files and won't allow them to be deleted. Often after a reboot or in a couple of days these files will delete. I do this as part of my regular system houskeeping.

Ususally I would do that without thinking but the fact that these 2 files were SO large made me a bit skeptical.
