    I was wondering if there is a way to change a service password in NT/2000/XP from the command prompt. I'd like to stop a service, change its password, and then restart it, all from the command prompt. Can anyone tell me if this is possible?

    Explore the SCHTASKS and SC commands for some insight.

    All XP commands:

    %windir%\hh.exe ms-its:C:\WINDOWS\Help\ntcmds.chm::/ntcmds.htm

    Paste that string in a shortcut target or the Run window.
