When I print a web page, my Canon c 755 prints @ the first 4 lines, of
text, skips @ the next 4 lines, then the remainder of printing is fine.

I can send and receive faxes fine, answering machine works ok with it, and
I can copy from the machine fine.

I just got a new computer with W XP(had been using it with W98).
I installed it from the Canon CD. Xp said it has not passed the WXP logo
testing to verify compatibility with XP.

I installed a "Multipass C755 Desktop Manager Update for WXP SP2" from
the Canon website. This did no good.

There is another download: "Canon Multipass Suite V3.20x(mine is V3.20) for W XP." However, this involves uninstalling the version I'm using. Looks it
will a colossal pain in the neck.

Should I go ahead and do this download or can anyone think of some other
way to solve the printing problem?

    Thanks for your help.

Whatever you have isn't working. I'd try other drivers.

I uninstalled the old version. Major pain in the a**. The version I downloaded works ok now.

I agree. Next time I'll buy HP. But I've had this one for 3 years and it worked ok with W98.

    Thanks for the input.
