So, should I merely format and reinstall, and run whatever "disk" wizard thing to get some partitions going?

Also, how might I save *all* of my current settings. Surely there is a way by now. All e-mail from Outlook Express, Internet Explorer favorites, settings, etc., mainly just the personalized stuff, I can reinstall everything fine.

And lastly, anyone know a way to get "The Warhammer Universe*" to run on Windows XP professional 2600?

    Thanks in advance.

*The Warhammer Universe is a set of four discs: Dark Omen, Chaos Gate, Final Liberation, and Shadow of the Horned Rat. All pretty old games.

    Hello, FooManChu
What other OS are you needing to use? Can't save your settings unless you use third party software like Power Quest Partition Magic to resize your XP partition create a partition before your Win XP partition. Install the other OS to the new C drive and reinstall Win Xp using the repair option. If you don't have third party SW you will need to use Fdisk and Format to creat 2 logical drives and format them. Install the other OS on drive C first than install XP on drive D. When you install XP it will set up a boot menu so that you can choose which OS you want to boot to. When you run Fdisk or Format all data on your hard drive will be lost and can not be recovered! Below are some links from Microsoft that may help. To get "The Warhammer Universe*" to run in XP you could try the compatibility wizard, goto Start-->All programs-->Accessories-->Compatibility Wizard. follow the prompts.
