Hello everyone. My first post. Thank you for trying to help me. I just instaled SP-2 and for some reason, IE no longer recognizes my LAN. I keep getting the "Cannot find server" error message. Thankfully, FireFox, and all other Internet programs work just fine. Any ideas? Thanks again.

    Welcome to Windows BBS!

SP2 usually turns on the XP firewall by default. That shouldn't affect IE but stranger things have happened.

If you are running another software firewall (Zone Alarm, Sygate, etc.), and the XP firewall is turned on, that may be the source of the problem. Turn off the XP firewall and see if that fixes things.

Thanks for the tip. The problem was when installing SP2, my User Account got corrupted! I had to create a new one, then delete it. All is working fine now. :)
