I got a new video card to replace by GEForce2MX; my monitor starts up all squiggly with the new card. I've downloaded the newest drivers (9Nov04) from NVIDIA, but I cannot get the screen to fix itself. Seems like a driver issue....can someone help me?

    Hi,

Boot into Safe Mode (tap the F8 key when you hear the POST beep). Go to Control Panel > Add/remove Programs and remove anything related to video. Go to Device Manager and remove any listings for Graphics Adapter.
    Reboot.
If you have any trouble booting into normal Windows, go back into Safe Mode. Go to Control Panel > Display > Settings (tab) > Advanced (button) > Adapter (tab) and set the Adapter as a "Stardard Graphics Adapter" (try standard AGP, but you may need to use standard PCI).
When you get to normal Windows run the driver installation program.

Edit: Note that they recommend that the antivirus program be disabled during installation.
    Matt

OK, I will try that, but I have a question first: After removing all the stuff in the Safe Mode, do I then re-install the 9 Nov NVIDIA drivers I downloaded?

Oops, sorry - I did not see the fully response. I'll reinstall after I get out of the safe mode.

    Thanks again.
