    Hi Guys,

I have a SFF case and am looking for a good pci soundcard for entertainment uses. I also have front mounted audio and use this quite a lot. As far as I understand if you have a PCI card plugged in it disables integrated audio - so the front mounted audio will no longer work.

Does anyone know of a PCI soundcard that supports front mounted audio jacks -perhaps with the standard jumper style or audio block connections??

Thanks for your help & ideas!

Inside your PC the onboard sound has a header on the motherboard, that you plug the front audio connector cable onto, and this cable needs to be plugged into the PCI audio card instead. Many PCI audio cards do not have a header for this, and i dont know myself what cards do have this header. I usually just use the onboard sound for most clients, and others who want good sound i use Soundblaster Audigy cards, which dont have the header. I have not looked very hard for a card that has a front connector header.

Anyone ? I would be interested to know what cards do have a header myself.
