    Getting there

I have another issue and that has to do with Firefox 1.0 and Java. When I try to download from a site (not all sites) I get the message javascript not enabled. when I open the java console I have no idea what that is or what to look for. Any thoughts?

    Thanks

Go to control panel>Java Plugin>Browser Tab and put a check in Mozilla 1.1 or later. Then the Update Tab and uncheck the check for updates automatically(Doesn't work anyway). Click on Apply and x out.

Then in Firefox go to Tools>Options>Web Features and check Enable Java and Enable Javascript. OK out and that should do it.

Java and javascript are two different things, and you should be able to activate javascript directly from the Options in FF.
