    Hello,

All files other than ones relating to sound and movie appear to open fine with the associated program. .doc opens without a dialogue box saying "Which application would you like to use.. "

However with the listed above file extensions, I click "Windows Media Players" and always use this application, but it never saves that I chose that. Now if i tell use Quick Time and save and do this every time it does save that. So in other words, WMP will not be the automatic player.

As someone who constantly uses Microsoft products this is EXTREMELY ironic and annoying. Usually I try to keep MS out of as much as I can, now I can't get them to keep what I wanted.

    Help appreciated

    ~Jason

Explorer->Tools->Folder Options->File Types->edit the extensions and set the desired program to open them.
