I continue to have problems w/OE (winxp). The app will suddenly stop operating, giving me strange error messages, including reference to port 110. Problems included the apparent self-uninstallation of OE. The only way I've been able to reactivate the beast is by system restore; I've had to do this twice so far, as the problem repeated itself. Is this possible caused by a virus?

Cannot connect to the host-> Nothing strange about this very commone message.

Does it happen after you've been away from the pc for a few minutes. Could simply be the power saving feature to your network card needs to be turned off.

What type connection do you have to the internet?

That's not it. I have reason to believe that its a genetic conflict between AVG and OE. Thanks for your help.
