can't ping router from the second lan

    I have two lans connected wirelessly, one router, same subnet mask, same octet. The problem is that i can't ping the router ??? can ping all other pc's but not the router. Any ideas?

    Hi faji and welcome.

    Could you explain what you mean when you speak of two lans please.

    Also, examples of IP addresses and netmask on each 'lan' would help. If they are live internet addresses that you don't want to post, mask the first octet so 201.23.45.1 would be xxx.23.45.1 for instance. If they are private addresses (10.x.x.x, 192.168.x.x, 172.i never remember it all) then you can post the whole thing since they aren't vulnerable from the outside by IP address.

    Some specifics on the hardware you run would help as well. Make of router, any WAPs, etc.
