All of a sudden, I am unable to connect to my credit card site. It times out. This is the only site that I can not connect. I tried using internet explorer with the same results. I'm using 7.1

    Any ideas???

Just to see if the website is up, try to visit it with a proxy (make sure not to use this proxy for anything that needs to be secure, such as inputting credit card info!!). If the website loads with the proxy, the most likely problem would be a DNS issue with your ISP that may fix itself in a few days.

Can you give the URL of the site? Never mind if you need to login.
In cases like that there is a telephone number, which may solve your problems.

The site is up and running. I can access it through another computer. I have 2 computers networked.

This has happened once before and I rewrote my c: drive with a backup disk and everything was fine for a while.

A friend of mine that runs a computer store here suggested that something in the java scripts was getting corrupted preventing the access. Don't know about this.

When this happens, I can not ping the site, it times out.
