A friend has just upgraded from win95 to win 98SE after installing a USB card.
Everything except comms works fine however: The PC has a serial mouse (port 1) and the modem is plugged in to serial port 2. I have installed her modem for her and Olitec 5600 and running modem diagnostics show everything is OK however when we try to log on to our free ISP (free.fr) we get the message that the site is unobtainable despite being able to connect from my PC. Any ideas??

Hi, If you swap modems with her / install drivers, does your PC then
connect OK to the Internet ? And hers ?
    regards

I know that hers connected on her old PC with Win 95 only yesterday before swapping it to her newer one, but I'll try what you suggest tomorrow.
