How to uninstall existing Remote Desktop connection

    Hi Everybody,


    I am trying to remove remote desktop connection in Windows Xp SP2 for some reason. But i am not able to.
    Please help me out in this

    Control Panel->System->Remote->Uncheck both will turn it off.

    My question is how to uninstall remote desktop connection?
    Is it feature added in WinXp itself or it will be in SP2.
    By your suggestion i can disable it, but i want to unistall it competely
    from machine. Is i possible by editing the registry & by deleting the file
    "/windows/system32/mstsc.msc ". Please revert me back.

    I don't think you can "uninstall" Remote Assistance, but you can disable it where Steve suggested, and in Admin Tools> Services. That will eliminate any unauthorized activity.
