A good friend of mine somehow managed to delete the "Windows Update" command option which is visible when left clicking on "Start "

I can still activate it when I go to "Help & Support" but can't figure how to add this command back into his "Start Menu "?

    Thanks So Much,

    John

Go to %SystemRoot%\system32\ and make a shortucut of wupdmgr.exe
to his desktop. then, just drag the item from the desktop to the "start" button and then when the "Start" bar opens up, judt drag the icon to wherever you want it. Let go of the left mouse button and your set. Verify the icon by clicking it.
%systemroot% is usually C:\Windows . %systemroot% is just a Windows command that directs you to the base of the Windows operating system.
