Mozilla Firefox 1.0RC1 Remove Error

    When i try to remove mozilla firefox 1.0rc1 i keep getting a pop-up error that states HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MOZILLA FIREFOX\1.0RC1(EN-US)UNISTALL\UNINSTALL LOG FOLDER not found.Cound someone help me on this matter.thanks in advance.I think it's not on my hard drive anymore,but still in my add and remove programs.

    How did you remove the old stuff. That sounds like a delete the folder without uninstalling. Deleting will not remove Registry keys.
    I don't like to mess with the registry, but please tell us what you did.

    Can't remember what i did, I had several version of firefox.What one might call the trial version they had out.I manage to get rid of the others,except this last one.

    You could try to reinstall it, and then try, again, the Add/Remove.
    I, strongly, discourage to install any temporary, or trial versions. I, always, work out of the unzipped files. You can get such files, most of the time. You send a shortcut of the .exe file to the desktop, and then work out of it. When you are done, you delete the unzipped file and the shortcut, and nothing is left behind.
    But, since you have that message, I think a reinstallation is in order. I don't know what else may be left.

    Thanks for your comments,the only thing is that it's no longer available to reinstall.once again thanks for the suggestion.

    If you have a program which is installed, you should hang on the installation file.
