I am trying to set up my home computer to connect to my office computer. I had Norton Personal Firewall installed, but this slowed the internet connection down to a crawl, so I changed to Zone Alarm. This works fine except it blocks the access from hom to XP remote.

I now have Windows XP firewall only installed, and I can use remote form home no problem - just is it safe, as I understand it does not block outbound traffic. Is that really a problem if it does block incoming? The firewall does not appear to give me any warnings, or feedback of potential attacks - is there a way to set this up?

    Thanks
