OE dreaded red X

On occassion I receive a red X instead of an image? Is this my problem or the sender? Please advise. Thanks for your time.

Lis--In an OE email message, if the redX appears only occasionally and most of the time you can see the image, the fault is probably with the sender. You could try right-clicking and then Show Picture, but I suspect that will not help.
If you cannot see any images in Email then post back. That could be settings on your PC.
