You will need a DSL modem - in many cases your DSL provider will provide this - in UK at least. These are generally USB and plug into a USB port on your PC - the phone line plugs into the modem.

Possible to have both DSL and Dialup on the same PC should you have the need - as I do.

The Ethernet Connection is for networking two or more computers together.

Right about the modem. However, DSL can be connected using either USB or a NIC card. My installer said NIC is preferred as it is more reliable. My modem actually has lights on the front to show which way it's connected.

    Hi All
    Thanks
After reading my OM, The Ethernet connection is where it will hook up. It also works as the NIC card.
    Thanks again

Your ethernet connect IS the Network Interface Card, it is either a PCI card or built right into the motherboard.
