This may not pertain to just XP, but how do I use a program without having to keep putting in its Cd?

    Hello jct61765,

Do you mean a particular program or all programs?

There are programs such as MS's Streets and Tips I think that have their database on disc and require access to it. Is this the sort of thing you mean?

    Give an example.

    Regards - Charles

Just go for the full install - will run off the HD without the need for the CD. About 1 gig of HD needed. Have it on my laptop.

Please use meaningful titles for your threads
