Do you have 2K installed or are you trying to install it?

Ah.....,floppy disks.Alas, sadly, notebooks don't come with floppy drives any more!Frankly,I wish they had a serial port and floppy drive(and I mean built in not external)!

The computer I was working on ..BEGAN.. as a SONY notebook ,but I made "some" changes.

In any case,I found the answer to my problem.I went back to Partitition Magic deleted the partition in question and created a new one with FAT 32 rather than NTFS format.I don't know why the full W2K Pro install worked this way rather than with NTFS.

I tried a W2K install on another cptr recently using the 4 floppy disks but after the 4th was used, things hung!

    Tks for comments !
