dialog box can not be created or loaded

    Running a Bible Program called Quickverse 4.0 and it worked fine on Win 2000 but will not go to specific verses on Win XP. The error messages say The dialog box could not be created or loaded. System Memory may be low or the QVWIN.EXE file may
    be damaged. Reinstall results in the same message.

    The computer is a Dell Dimension 8200 1.8 megahertz with 256mb ram.

    Is this one of those programs that just won't run with Xp, or do any of you have suggestions which I can try.

    You could try running it through the Program Compatibility Wizard for Windows 2000 compatibility.

    Kevin, It is compatible with 2000. The problem is with XP.

    I understand that, Mike. In Win XP, go to Start > Help and Support (which is actually very good by the way). Search for program compatibility. One of the results will be Getting older programs to run on Windows XP.
