    hello,
I have just recently reformatted my hp pavilion zt3340ous and have had conciderable problems with it after. I had to download new graphic and wireless drivers to get it working again. A new problem I found was when i tried to burn a cd today it wouldent let me. Is there a driver for the CD:R drive? and if so where can i find it since it must have been left out of my packet and is not avalible at hp online?

    Thank you,
    Andrew

What burning software are you using and what happens when you try to burn?

I usually use Record Now! or win media player. Today when i would try to burn a cd it would say either enter a blank cd after i already had at it tried to burn or it would say unknown error. Before the reformat the cd burner worked perfectly

If your using a third party recording app like record now, then go into My Computer and right click the CDRW icon. go into properties and make sure that enable recording is disabled (unticked). The XP built in recording capability can (and often does) interfere with third party recording software.
