    Hi

Here is what is not working.

    1. We get an e-mail using Outlook Express
    2. We see a GIF graphic (or a JPE or JPEG)
    3. We right Click and Save As

    Problem:

Only choice we have is BMP

Windows did accomplish this task great a year ago (Windows XP Pro)
Now we updated to Service Pack 2 that ability is gone.

What we have done so far:

    A. Did All Suggestions in MIcrosoft Knowledge Base Article - 260650
    Still did not work.

    B. Made sure we conformed to proper File Name . Microsoft Knowledge Base Article - 250747
    Still did not work.

Anyone got any more suggestions when using both IE and OE ?

Another question: Anyone know of another e-mail program whereby - If we save the OE e-mail to a folde. Then exit OE.

Now using the new program recall the saved E-mail.

And be able to save those Gif And Jpg (Jpeg) graphics with proper extention ?

    Thanks

When you deleted the browser's cache (IE>Tools>Internet Options>Delete files button), a dialog box asking about deleting offline content should have appeared. If you didn't check that box, empty the browser's cache again and check the offline content box. On some systems, checking the box to allow the deletion of offline content will fix the "bmp only" problem when emptying the cache without dumping the offline content has not.
