Slave IDE HDD's seen in BIOS & Device Manager but not in My COmputer

    Have 3 ATA100 IDE HDD drives and 1 DVD Writer. Only Master drives are seen in "My Computer" and all are seen Device Manager. Currently running SP2 but experienced same with SP1. Any suggestions :confused:

    Type diskmgmt.msc in your RUN window and see what Xp Disk management says about it. Perhaps it will report a drive with unallocated space. If so, you may only need to format it.
