quick launch taskbar has moved

My friend's quick launch taskbar is now showing up just to the left of the taskbar next to the clock (i.e., in the lower right corner). It used to be just to the right of the Start button, and we'd like to move it back there -- can someone help us? Thanks!

Hopefully you will understand this:

just next to the start button there should be a small vertical bar. If you click and drag that to the right hand side of the vertical bar near the quick launch toolbar. it should pop back where it should be (near the start button)

Rebecca, its easier to folllow Liam's directions if you "grab" the toolbar at the top and "pull" up, doubling the height of the toolbar and moving the QL around. Afterward, you just "pull" down and revert the height of the tool bar to the original size.

If I may ask a question in this post;

A friend in the area has WinMe (I haven't worked on an Me Os). She has several running programs showing in the Taskbar, which I try to rt. click and delete, but there is no delete in the drop down window. Also, I am unable to create a quick-launch area.

When rt.clicking on Start > Properties > I do not see an option for quick-launch.

 

Try right clicking the taskbar and looking under Toolbars. It should be there.
