No...they only added up to .164 MB..only a little more than a tenth of one MB...I should have almost 9.9MB left...but the page I made came to the end and there was no more space on it;it couldn't be scrolled down any further. The page won't even hold 1MB, never mind 10MB.They tell you that you have 10MB of space but you don't even have have two tenths of 1MB...

    Dixie,

I'm not clear on what you mean here:

the page I made came to the end and there was no more space on it; it couldn't be scrolled down any further

Are you talking about Composer, or have you uploaded the page, and it won't scroll any further?

You need to insert <BR> tags which signify a line break, if you want to continue down the page. You determine the length of the page. That is if I am understanding you correctly.

No...I have no idea what a break tag is...I don't know HTML.You don't need to use HTML with Composer

I open Composer. I make a page on Composer. The page has definite dimensions...it is only just so big.You can't make it any bigger than it is.
I put things on the page. It comes to the end of what is in Composer...the scroll bar on the right is all the way down to the bottom...nothing more can be put on it. It is not 10MB...it is a very small page...

Open Composer and scroll down to the end...you will see what I mean...it is impossible to put 10MB of anything on a Composer page...it is not big enough.

I don't know how else to explain it...

    Hi Dixie,

O.K., I think we're on the same page now (pardon the pun)!

You want to add to the length of the page, not necessarily make the contents of the page total 10 MB.

You can add to the length of the page by doing thus:

Click on Tools | HTML Tools | Edit HTML Source

A small window will appear with all your HTML tags. Scroll to the bottom of the screen, and there you can add the <br> tag to increase the length of the page. You can also add text this way, as I just did it.

You know 10 MB will enable you to make several pages, unless you have some HUGE files to include.

They give us 10MB so, yes, I want to use 10MB. What do you do...make a bunch of tiny pages and then take one off and put another one on? That would be a time comsuming pain. And the page would always be changing.Otherwise, HOW do you get from one page to another? Is there anyplace that tells you how to do this? They don't give any instructions about how to do this...I see pages that you can click on things and it takes you somewhere else but Composer has no way to do this and it does not tell you how to do it.

As for the HTML tools...they are meaningless to me...I don't know anything about HTML...that thing that drops down looks like chicken scratches to me. The reason I am using Composer is because you do not have to know any HTML...You just type the stuff in and make the page the way you want it to look...NO HTML is used.

I am going to take a rest from it and try again in 5 years...LOL...it is too confusing because they don't explain anything...and I really don't want to waste any more of your time...this is very time consuming for you, too, and I am feeling guilty...

    Hi Dixie,

There are a lot of Composer Tutorials on the Internet, Check out this Google Search. However, I understand if you don't want to continue.

Composer will do everything you described, and altho you personally don't have to know HTML, your page is created with HTML. You don't take one page down and put another in its place. You give each page a unique name. For instructions on how to add live links to your pages, using Composer: How do I link?

A good example is my Netscape Solutions page. Each link you click on is a separate page, but is included in the index6.html page. I have over 100 separately linked pages.

Don't feel guilty about my time, as I thoroughly enjoy helping, even though I only know the HTML basics.

    Later gator,

    Ramona :D
