SP1>Sp2 or Straight SP2

    Is it possible to got straight to SP2 without having SP1 installed?

    My brother had to do a recovery from the system disk and now when he looks
    at CP>System it doesn't show SP1 anywhere, just XP-Pro. So he wants to know
    if he can skip SP1 and just use SP2. I dont know the answer.

    SP2 is cumulative and contains all he needs. After that, there is a single hotfix to install.

    (The same goes for Office XP SP3 which also is cumulative but a few more updates to install.)
