I run LANParty's at our local village hall. The problem is one of the PC's cannot be seen on a TCP/IP protocol. I've reinstalled the networking side of things. We also run SPX/IPX as well but this is working fine.

There are 8 machines on the network(cat5) connected via hubs. Each machine has a fixed IP all running on Workgroup.

    Cheers

What OS are all the PC's running? Is the PC in question running a firewall app by any chance?

When you say "one of the PC's cannot be seen on a TCP/IP protocol " do you mean that PC does not show up in Network Neighborhood? If that's the case try installing File and Printer Sharing. Can you ping the PC by IP address and/or name?
