    I have been getting a message every time I use Internet explorer (which for me is not too often but my wife uses it all the time). A dialog box pops up and asks for me to specify a discussion server.

    Does anyone know what this is and how to get rid of it?

    Thanks

    Hi bsole...

    It's part of MSOffice (Web discussions) Sharepoint.

    Anyways on your Standard IE toolbar you will have an icon that looks like a Yellow sticky notepad...when you touch it with your mouse it should say discuss. Click the "Discuss" button to turn Web Discussions on; click it again to turn Web Discussions off.

    Info => http://support.microsoft.com/kb/q255085/

    Once off right-click on standard toolbar and select customize then "Remove" the "Discuss" button from toolbar...that way you won't accidently turn it back on.
