    Hey all,

Got a pair of standard speakers & woofer with AVRack drivers. When I'm playing games full-screen, the sound will occasionally cut out. It won't come back unless I Alt-Tab or close & restart the game.

    Any advice? Thankee in advance
    :)

What make/model of speakers, soundcard, and OS are you running? Does the sound pack up and leave during all games, or does it seem to dislike certain games?? DETAILS MAN, DETAILS!!! haha. post back with the info.

My first stab at it is you are using settings for audio in the game that are more than your card can handle, or the card is in need of an updated driver form the manuafacturer. Some sound cards have issues with certain games and not others also, so check you game's web site for any FAQs about your sound card. And/or your sound cards website for FAQs about your game.

Also try installing the latest DirectX which may help. this is available from Microsoft.

Failing that, try another sound card in your PC to see if the fault is with the card or something else.
