I have McFee pers. firewall installed first and then upgraded to the plus version. , works perfect! execept that in the opening sequence there wil apear two notifications during the startup of windows instead of one notification. in system start there- system info- is a poss, to see wat is used and loaded during the startup phase, both are used , is there a poss, to remove one out of that sequence?normaly if you right click it there apears a block with te poss, to remove an item ! any advise ? thank you, Geertjan.

Have read some things about MacaFee on Lockergnome

    Hi,

You may be able to find more information about this at www.lockergnome.com. They have posted some articles about MacaFee products that will help you. At best, contact MCFEE Support and "pop" that question to them.

    :p

Is it two instances of the same file or two different files.

Norton loads two ( in fact I think 3 as one is started by the other ) different files at Startup and both are required.

There is usually a selection somewhere to disable the splash screens.
